New Years Eve!

I had a very long night! I was so excited to bring in the New Year that I did not fall asleep until 12:30 AM!!!! Thankfully (for mom and dad) I found this toy....this amazing toy that made my night joyful!

Since I was awake we got to take a family picture at midnight!

But then..... Suddenly, mom and dad decided that it was time to go home!

And....I was not happy! Fine, I don't want this NewYears hat anyway!

December 28th

Daddy had to do some training in San Francisco, so mommy and I would play in the hotel room during the day and then play with daddy when he got done working!

December 26,27

We stopped by cousin Ownen's house on our way to San Francisco so that I could get a break from the car, and of course so that we could all visit. Owen and I wanted to be festive so we said goodbye to santa and hello to the New Year ahead of us.

I played and played and played with daddy as much as I could while he was home!

Christmas Day!

I had a great first Christmas! We went over to cousin Delaney and Reece's house to have breakfast and open presents. Woohoo, more paper and bows!

But... first we had Christmas morning at our house. Daddy gave the doggies their stockings and then he helped me open my presents. Eventually I caught on, and tried tearing off the paper all by myself.

Mommy and I were sure happy to have daddy home for a little while, especially to help us celebrate Christmas!

December was a pretty good month. It got pretty cold so when mommy and I would walk, I had to put on my really warm red hat to keep my ears warm.

I also got to open my first Christmas present ever when Grandma Marla came up the week before Christmas to be with us.

I also got yucky sick in the beginning of December, don't I look great sick?

In other news, I explored the option of eating on my own......it was really fun, and pretty messy for mommy.

I also went on my first swing and it was fun... I almost fell to sleep!

November 26th

This was my first Thanksgiving, and boy was it fun. I got to dress up in a great argyle sweater (probably the best thing about the day) oh and I had sweet potatoes!

November 11th

Mom thinks that I would have made a good cabage patch doll for Halloween, oh well who new? Ok, so you may be wondering why I look like a girl. Well, it all started because I got my dinner all over my clothes at Auntie D's house, so I had to get one of cousin Maddy's pajamas on because mom did not have any in my bag. So as if the girly clothes were not enough, cousin Ryan thought it would be a good idea to add his wig to my outfit. At least I could get a few laughs out of everyone.

November 8th

These are my Grandpa Lon's overalls that he wore when he was a little boy. Mom and dad got a new camera today so mom decided to dress me up in my overalls for the first time and get some pictures of me.

November 7th

Woo-Hooo, daddy got to come home for the weekend. I helped him do a few tasks around the house, well maybe I more like hindered his progress..... because we were busy playing games together. Daddy was teaching me how to play the hand slapping game where one person moves their hands and the other has to try slapping them. It was pretty fun, probably my favorite game that I know.

November 5th

Well it is getting closer..... I am on the verge of getting into anything and everything. I am also getting hard to dress because I was to look at what is behind me so I twist and turn and roll over to see, and then I end up wanting what I see, so I flop my body around like a fish out of water, fold my knees up under my body and push off as hard as I can. This morning I was really interested in my diapers. I am getting to the point where I am more interested in everyday items and big kid toys more than baby toys.

November 4th

Now that dad is gone for a little while mom has been complaining that I am getting too heavy to hold all the time, so naturally she had to find a way to keep me entertained so that her back could rest. The TV is not hooked up yet because we have painters in the house, so mom remebered that she had her lap top and could play my Baby Einstein videos on that. It worked out well..... until mom looked up from doing the dishes only to find that I was pounding on the keyboard with both hands and had paused my movie.

November 2nd

This morning Cousin Madelyn cam over and we played out on the deck. It was pretty chilly out so mom put a coat over my pajamas and my beanie on and I bounced away with Maddy.

November 1st

Here I am at our new house out on the deck, just bouncing away and enjoying the day. I love to be outside. I have fun looking at all of the trees and listening to the birds.

October 31st

Can you guess what we did on Halloween? Yep, we moved. Mom and dad dressed me in my wild thing costume and let me lose with all of the moving boxes, it was a great first Halloween for us all.

October 28th

So, Soleil and I got along great today. Usually one of us gets mad at the other, but today was a new beginning for us. We looked at each other in awww.... like we were seeing each other for the first time.

October 2th

MMMM... Today was the first time I've had sweet Potatoes, and boy were they scrumptious! I ate the whole container! I slurped them so fast and furious that every time I would bite down on the spoon sweet potatoes would shoot out of my mouth, it was funny.

October 26th

WOW.....everything looks so different sitting up. I am learning how to sit all by myself. I am still a little tipsy, so when I get super excited I usually fall over. I am really liking this whole sitting thing though, I don't get as bored as I did when all I could do was lay on my back.

October 4th - October 25th (A Very Busy Couple of Weeks)

Well... It has been a busy

couple of weeks for us. We are getting ready to move so we have been packing, organizing, and cleaning. I am doing all kinds of new things. I can roll over now and I am really trying to learn how to crawl. Also, mommy and daddy are teaching me how to use a sippy cup. I do pretty well but I get surprised when water comes out. I have been teething too so I really like the cold teething ring, it makes me feel much better. The last couple of days I have been fighting off a cold. I had a fever a couple of days in a row but nothing that a little motrin can't knock out. Other than that I am a healthy boy.

October 3rd

I'm just sitting here waiting for mom and dad so that we can go on a walk. It is chilly outside tonight and the wind is really blowing. Dad dressed me in my warm comfy clothes so that I would not get too cold.

October 1st

Here we are-1Am-just arriving in Alameda at the hotel. Mom and dad decided to drive down tonight instead of in the morning so that they did not have to worry about being late for their 10 am appointment on Coast Gaurd Island. I slept the whole way down, but I woke up as soon as we got there. I had a bottle and then slept in my own bed like a big boy.

September 29th

Stone had a busy day today. First our neighbor Kevin came over to help Stone practice his balancing tricks. He had to concentrate really hard. Then his friend Soleil came over with her mommy. Stone and Soleil cuddled, played, and then.....they kissed!

September 28th

Here I am, just relaxing with my snuggly blanket before I go to bed. I like to snuggle and talk to the fan before bedtime.

September 27th

Stone likes to suck on his pajamas and hands while he is falling asleep. He can usually put himself to sleep at night, but has some nights when he needs mom and dad's touch.

September 26th

Stone was trying to talk and play with the dogs but was distracted by all of his sneezes!

September 25th

I am happy to report that as of today I am: 4 months and 6 days old, I weigh a healthy 18 pounds and 3 ounces, and I am 26 inches tall. I had to get my shots again today too, but I did okay. Mommy thought it was sad because as soon as the first needle went into my leg, my smile disappeared and my lower lip got really, really, really big and then my eyes welled up with tears. Despite Mom's efforts to distract me, I still felt the pain of the shots!

September 24th

Yes, it is 11 Pm and I am wide awake, woo hoo it is party time. We went out to dinner tonight and then over to Benji and Kassey's house, I took a nap on the ride home and then I was ready to play. It did not last long, though. By 11:20 pm I was ready for a bottle and a good night sleep in my crib.

September 23rd

So, lately I have been doing a lot of bouncing! Mom and dad got me this new toy because I was starting to bounce so much on their laps. Now I can bounce and play at the same time, it's the coolest!
