August 27th

I have to focus really hard to be on my tummy and play with my toys at the same time. I balance and have enough coordination to grab my toys and bring them to my mouth.

August 26th

I am sitting up really well now, not actually all the way by myself yet....but getting closer everyday! I sit up in the bumbo chair, though and I like to play with my toys. I can see things from a whole new and interesting view point like this.

August 25th

today we went for a walk on the river trail and then hung out at home for the rest of the day. i laid on the couch and stared at the fan, the fan is such a faithful friend of mine. it is always there to make me smile, laugh, and talk to; thank you fan.

August 23rd

thanks for the milk service dad. i am getting ready for bed, i had a long day. i like to go to bed around 7:30 now, or else i get super cranky.

save me daddy. maybe someday i'll be in the coast guard just like daddy.

hehehehe...daddy you're funny. i love playing with my daddy, he makes me laugh at the silliest things.

August 17th

mom played dress up with me today. look...i'm an aviator! actually she was afraid that it was going to be too small for me so she tried it on, and guess what? it is almost too small. you know what that means.....cousin owen gets a cool new aviator beanie for the fall.

August 16th

today we drove home from gramma's house and i slept the whole way. mom was so happy. when we got home my neighbor makayla visited me and gave me my bottle.

August 15th

today i played at gramma's house. we had a long day at the mall shopping for mom. then we stopped by cousin owen's house again so that we could play. at gramma's house, mom realized that i would laugh if she put my feet in my mouth....that's silly.

August 14th

today was a pretty crazy travel day. mom and i left to go to gramma's at 11 am and did not arrive there until 4 pm, yes.... 5 hours later. so much for a 3 hour and 15 minute trip! first we stopped at the rest area for 4o minutes, i played on the grass, picked clovers, drank a bottle, and looked at the leaves blowing in the wind. back on the road again......until i woke up from my nap just in time to stop at cousin owen's house. we posed for a few pictures to make our moms' happy, and then it was off to gramma's house...finally!

August 13th

good boy hugo! he sits so nicely right next to stone. the dogs have been really good with baby and are acclimating well.

August 12th

i had a busy day today. first carly and jenny watched me while mommy went to work. then mommy and i played all day. we just took it easy, i took a few naps...it was a good day. but....i'm getting teeth, ahhhhhh! it hurts, so i'm a little cranky at night. mommy gave me some teething tablets, which seem to help because i like the way they taste. i also like my teething ring a little bit. tonight i put my blanket in my mouth to make me feel better. then, just as i was about to have a meltdown, mommy put daddy on speaker phone so that i could hear him, and lucky for mommy it worked!

August 11th

exuse me! i had a big sneeze. i think that the doggies make me have allergies. but they are worth it, i have fun with them. they like my face and i just stare at them. they are funny. todya mommy and i played together and ran some errands in town. and tonight auntie, carly, and jenny are coming over for a girls night.....alright!

August 9th

who is the handsome boy in the mirror? oh wait, that's me. i like to see myself in the mirror on my play gym. i talk to myself, and smile, and laugh.

August 8th

gramma denise and grandpa randy came over tonight. today was mommy's last day of school! good job mommy, you got your BA! gramma gave me a nice bath tonight and then fed me my dinner.

August 7th

carly came to visit me today. i love her. mommy and her talked and i just kinda hung out.

August 6th

im just waiting for my girlfriend halin to come over. how do i look? mike, chase, and halin came over for dinner tonight. i laid on the floor with halin for a while, but she rolls all over the place and i can't do that yet.

August 4th

oh my gosh! i think i just pooped my pants! mommy help!

August 2nd

just waking up in mt. shasta. daddy tucked me in to bed this morning. i had a long nigh last night at mario and carly's wedding.
